We need mobile security fencing for animal pens, blankets, and bedding. And of course animal food. (We especially want out of date pasta or rice.)
We are looking to buy a new vehicle for the sanctuary, and donations for that would be appreciated, plus unwanted mobile phones, and used stamps. Lastly, building materials and linoleum,(10' by 8' offcuts would be good), as we're putting down a waterproof floor for the new operating room.
Hedgehogs!If you find a hedgehog about in daylight hours it will probably be ill, and you should bring it in to us as soon as possible. Try to keep the hedgehog warm with a towel wrapped around a blanket. Time really is crucial, and the quicker animals are brought to us the better chance they have. Thanks!

Brook Farm Animal Sanctuary has been operating since summer 2005. In that time we have helped scores of animals but we are very aware there is so much more work to do. Part of our goal for the coming year is to convert some of our old farm buildings into useful homes for the animals. In particular we would like to dismantle a grain store and build a stable block to house sheep, cattle, horses and Lucy our lovely goat.
